On the Schedule(pronounce it weird if you are english) . . .

So October is fast approaching and we here in (the) Vermont are getting ready for an exciting month before we wait for the snow to arrive.  We have a plethora of events and gatherings going on over the course of the whole month, some new, some old.  Live Music, Guest Chef Dinners, the peak of foliage season and some 2nd annual events all take place in before we close out our season with the 2nd Annual Hostel Halloween.  We are happy to once again host Johnny Reid and Friends for what is sure to be another rocking performance.

Peak foliage this year has been declared to be the exact moment Cesare blends in to the leaves on the ground, our reports indicate this is most likely to occur the 4th or 5th of the month (time-stamped pictures to follow).  Columbus day weekend is shaping up to be quite the eventful weekend.  Thursday night we kick off the weekend with a live set from Phineas Gage, everyone’s phavorite musical maestro’s, followed by a live performance from the rock gods SPITJACK on Friday.  The 2nd annual Vermontoberfest tournament will also be taking place, time to be announced closer to the date.  SPITJACK showtime TBA. However, it might be fun to have Tom T rocking out as the champions are crowned.  That Sunday, October 10th, is another Jazz and Brunch on the deck with Chicky and Tim. We are also welcoming back VORCZA, Vermont’s premiere Jazz Trio on the 22nd of October.  Be sure to mark your calendars for all of these awesome shows.

This upcoming week, breakfast hours will move back to Friday-Saturday-Sunday with Bar service remaining Wed-Sat and don’t worry, as it gets darker earlier, we will be opening accordingly.  Summer might have officially ended but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a nice breakfast on the deck for a few more weeks!

On the food front, we will be having our friend Claudio cook us up an awesome Oktoberfest meal on Sunday the 10th. If you are interested in joining us, please let us know, there are still spots available.

It was an awesome summer here at Hostel Tevere this year and we would just like to say Thank You to everyone who came by and enjoyed summer with us.  Hope to see you all here for the winter in (the) beautiful Vermont.
