Welcome Matt
Hi everyone!
Please allow myself to introduce myself. My name is Matt, and I’m working at the Hostel Tevere this winter. During your visits you may see me scampering about with the grace of a donkey eating a waffle, doing all kinds of random things to help keep the place running smoothly during the busiest time of the year. In less than two weeks on the job, I believe I have explored at least 94% of the building, which is saying something. I am still convinced that Giles and Sarah have a secret passageway hidden somewhere.
Chez has quickly become my favorite dog. Temperature with a negative sign on it has become my least favorite weather. Life balances out. When I’m not working, some activities I enjoy include betting on horses, table tennis, and eating hot dogs.
But enough about me. Let’s talk about you, and when you will next be visiting us. We’ve got live music by jazz trio Vorcza tonight. I don’t know what “vorcza” means, or if it’s even a real word, but I’m not leaving early. Tomorrow we’re showing NFL playoff games and serving up the usual: beer + fun. See you soon.
