Whoa! Was that found under the porch ramp?

For those who may be interested: This is a fragment of the grave of Eugene Horace Robinson, son of Nathan and Emily Robinson, who lived at Hostel Tevere in the 19th century. The third child of this couple was born 15 August 1844 and died 16 October 1863. He is buried along with his parents and older brother in the Irasville cemetery behind the Mad Taco. The marker is visible from Rt. 100 if you know where to look for it. Contrary to popular belief, he and his younger brother, Charlie, were never buried at Hostel Tevere. Their older brother replaced these marble stones after the death of their parents, installing a family marker with the names of all four family members interred. I wrote this sketch of the Robinson family in December 2020 and if you’re lucky, you’ll find a printed copy hidden in one of the many books at Hostel Tevere.
